"Irresistible" co-workers.

Office romances and the sub-set of subsequent affairs is a sacred institution of capitalism which is now under attack.

Seven short-sighted and fearful viagra dependent men have put this practice under serious threat paramount to open season on endangered species of wolves.

Earlier this week an I.O.W.A. (idiots out wandering around; an American political battleground state)  have issued a unanimous ruling on a case i doubt very much that they ever thought much about considering the legal president they were setting.

It was decided that it is legal to fire an otherwise exemplary employee on the grounds that said employee is physically "irresistible."

Okay… So if you're hot, you shouldn't be aloud to work because you are now an imminent threat to your otherwise less attractive co-workers.

Now,  the case in question was centered around a married male boss whom, under scrutiny from his wife, was persuaded to fire his diligent and professional female assistant on the sole basis that she was too attractive…

…avoiding the reDICKulous issue of marital commitment vs. extramarital sex in America…

…all blatant stupidity aside, the thing that worries me about this ruling is the legal president that has been set here…

What if the boss was female? This ruling threatens the future employment of all sexy pool boys around the world!

What if the boss was gay? or bi? Did any one of these short-sighted mid-west puritanical peons consider what they were doing?

What about models? The whole point of that job is to be irresistible? The future of that entire industry of "sex sells" is now under legal peril… not to forget Hollywood… Kristen Stewart and Ryan Phillipie your careers are in serious jeopardy!!!

Would you buy jeans that look as if they were painted on if the only ones legally aloud to model them were physically akin to Hillary Clinton? I think not!!!

(BTW, nothing specifically against Hillary's politics but good grief, one thing she is not is a looker)

So in a nation of materialism, where the sales of consumer crap is the basis of a solid chunk of the economy, SEX sells! These man have put the fundamentals of marketing to our impulse driven lifestyle under fire…

As judges, and likely former lawyers, these men should have at the very least considered the legal president that they were about to set - even in the most single-minded hetero, old-school thought this is a grave example of out right stupidity.

Will someone out there seriously challenge this threat to our way of life?

Sexy, Dirty, Picture of an Angry Blonde

As a result, or colateral damage, of my need to post images within these posts I have developed an appreciative curiosity with the "Goole Image Search."

Resisting the urge to find another lame Facebook game that might occupy my thoughts, or at the very least fingers, for just one more hour of my life... I have started typing in ridiculous search headings into Google Images...

Tonight; "dirty sexy picture of an angry blonde."

hehehehehehe, this shit is so varied it tickles me...

mind you, i am ultimately looking for something like this...

or even a little vintage(esque) piece like this...

awe hell even this one is in the realm of appropriate....

he is blonde....

and can be dirty....

it is a picture.....

and i did not specify gender....

now this isn't "dirty" per say.....

but she is blonde....

but what's up with riding a dobie?

now this is where we start to go a little off kilter....

it is "Dirty Dancing" after all...

but the only dirty thing about that film was maybe the cabins...

...or the back-room abortion....

not so much the dancing....  have you seen a bounce video from New Orleans on youtube?

That's not just dirty.... that shit is NASTY! mmmmhmmm.... goodness yo mama seen you shakin' that shit the way you do?

....then of course there is the departure from the dirty dirty to the Dirty Harry...

ya feeling lucky punk?

mmmm lucky you say.....

well there is always the dirty win.....

bite the bitch in the FACE!!!!

it's not really where i saw this going....

...but i guess it could be dirty money...

...and one could argue that it is still a dirty blonde printed on the bill...

speaking of money...

Then there is the dirty picture of one of the truly great metaphors of our masculine value system...

and think of the dry cleaning bill for all those dirty linens...

He must thank is lucky whatevers that he has the salary to afford that...

The there is both a girl and a story that makes me feel a little dirty...

...are you as stoked as i am to see if they can actually pull off the "On the Road" movie to come out in 2013...

...all you Twilight tweens are just gonna die...

...can they even really read? I don't honestly consider those books literature...

those kids did "learn" to read under Bush's "No child left behind," so they are all basically a-literate...

...and the movies aren't quite film either...  I really tried... more than once... just to sit through one of 'em...

...moving slightly away from unintelligible teen movies...

And back to the STRANGE!!!!

How in the hell did these two show up for any reason?...

Cats lick their asses and pigs root in shit, so i guess that's dirty...

But wait! We go full-on weird for these next two...

What the hell was that? A fawn under a full moon in a forrest?

Nice alliteration, but hardly a dirty blonde...

...like Sailor Your-Anus... ehhh low-brow, low-brow... but at least a little dirty...

Then there is this beast.. What???????

Something about zombies in the description.... Je ne sais.....

At least she is... blonde...

and the fence thing could be construed as dirty... or sexy, if splinters are your thing....

...anyway just having fun... Strovia!

"What in the hell are you doing?" - a plea.

Okay this is my pandering post. I have spent the last 20 years trying to find and outlet for all these aspects of the society I live in that do not make sense, seem at the least suicidal and at very least contradictory. As well as all the little screams whirling around in between my ears. So now, with little else to do that rant into the endless, dark, anonymous cavern that is the internets I explore anyone who reads this blog to do something of which the scale of action is totally up to you (the reader).

I have pleaded with teachers, published authors, anyone who may know anything about how to write pleasingly and/ or just the basics of how to start the long road of getting published or just getting my voice heard. Nothin'. Is it some secret right of passage? I've googled the shit out of it.... still nothin'.

Honesty in a world of thieves seems to be the worst policy, but i have not been able to find any other "set" of "rules" so what is a scared little rabbit like me to do?

I don't think that what i say or feel is particularly "wrong" in that no one, so far, has said so much to counter anything i say with a reasonably valid argument (grunting in disgust i don't count as an intelligible refutation)... I may not be "right" whatever the fuck that means (other than judgement from a myopic POV), so I can only assume that I am neither wrong nor right but just a tiny voice crying out for something as magical as a brilliant man in a blue box or some sort of comfort... Is that so outlandish or unreasonable?

As a result of feeling so poorly placated and ultimately ignored I have been witness to a slow and agonizing crystallization of the only meaningful & fluid thing i ever really had to give in the first place, harden into cold deadly stone; love.

So in my best-est, most heartfelt plea... If you like what i say, pass it along. If you really like what i say & happen to know someone in publishing... pass my words on to them.

I know philosophy is functionally dead... but just in case...

Stupid Bastards... & firearms, mass shootings, and the 2nd Amendment

I know its been a while, and functional political memory is only about 30 years long...

...but, does anyone even remember the cold war? I was just a little kid towards the fall of it all, but I still remember little bits of the lingering fear... and the joy (I didn't fully understand at the time, and to a degree never will) that came with the tearing down of The Wall. Yet, I feel that even though I wasn't alive for most of the war, nor sentient basically all of it, there is an important lesson Americans can still learn from the Cold War... one being, proliferation of arms is not the road to peace. Sacrilege, I know.

Even more so when, in that light, one views the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America which reads, "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." (according to Cornell)

<<<aside; I realize that I am exploiting the 19 spree shooting incidents of the last five years*, in this nation, to a similar degree as everyone else that is saying something about society and firearms and whatever else, and for that I do feel a slight cringe in my chest.>>>

I'm not particularly pro or anti gun, and I do realize that guns (all by themselves) don't kill people - people kill people and all the usual rhetoric... but seriously? That's like saying booze doesn't kill other people, only drunk drivers do...

This call to arm teachers or put guards in schools is just stupid. If the nuclear bombs/ Cold War example isn't a clear enough argument against proliferation of arms isn't enough...

... arming guards at schools didn't do much for Columbine... except for scare the shit out of everyone... (Terrorism much?- the guards, not the shooters)

My number one culprit is the culture that created this shit-show...

... by enforcing a culture where it is an individual's right to essentially shoot anyone who questions the legitimacy of their right to a personal stockpile of interments of death, you are reinforcing the idea that's is okay to be judge, jury and executioner... and my favorite is when those that fearfully cling to firearms throw Jesus into the mix... and there is discussion that "crazy,""insane," or "mentally infirm" individuals shouldn't have the right to own a gun...

but I must acquiesce...

here is a solution that should meet the demands of all but the crazies who want guns...

....WELL THEN! I propose that before anyone should be able to buy any type of gun (including paint and pellet) that they should be forced to "pass" the MMPI, Rorschach, & a stringent screening of everything they have ever said or done on the internet(s) and have all that data put before a board psychological, religious, and educational leaders (of course, elected to those positions via a democratic process) who will then take the Bible, DSM-V, and the constitution and all of its amendments into consideration as a litmus test towards their "sanity."
I think that that should satisfy everyone. Granted it will bankrupt quite a few institutions... but we're talking about possible "crazy" people buying guns here...

fucking idiots.

I'd rather be an idiot fucking than to acknowledge that this is actually a discussion that is consuming this country.

CHRISTmas for Christians

Can we give Christmas back to the Christians already? Now, it's been a while since I had to attend any type of Mass and a lot longer since any sort of bible study class; so pardon any sweeping generalizations or slight misquotations, but if there is one thing about JC I think I understand. It is that his idea was that his exact words are not what's important when held in comparison to the overall message.

Christmas seems to represent the worst aspects of the Christian faith, that's why I really want to give them their holy-day back.

But why say such hateful, terrible things about this day?

Well, for starters it's not even on Christ's birthday! The date was moved closer to the winter solstice to make the holiday and religion more accommodating to the heathen hordes comprising those damned pegans (Druids and nonbelievers for you historically accurate nit-pickers) of the British isles.

I mean, nothing is more pious or respectful than moving the date of birth of the human incarnation of your lord and savior for the sake of a popularity contest.... right?

Also, if one is really celebrating someone else's birthday shouldn't you then be inclined to celebrate that person's life/ message/ values rather than those of a triad of nobility who barely even met the dude? Cuz, if I remember JC was a rather strict immaterialist and pacifist... but I admit I could be wrong...

So, why then do we (at least in the religiously tolerant U.S.A.) base this day around the actions of people who show up in the story of JC, rather than JC himself? I thought it was the three kings who brought lavish and useless gifts to the manger instead of more practical items like food, a warm blanket or an offer to put the family (the new born, mother who just gave birth, & broke as the dirt they were sleeping on father) up in an inn for a while - I mean they were THREE KINGS after all, so it's not like they couldn't afford a modest room for a few nights....

I don't know if any of you have ever had to sleep on the street or under an overpass or a barn, but it is not a comfy (nor not-terrifying) way to spend a night, so even the most flea-bitten, rat-shit version of a Motel 6 looks like a month in the penthouse suit of a Las Vegas Strip hotel like the MGM Grand...

So, back to my point, the forced materialism that has become this season sickens even the most hardened and practiced consumer in me...

Kinda like the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan... If the time, labor, and resources that were spent during the holiday season on useless crap and sugary and fatty foodstuffs were actually applied in a responsible and humanitarian manners... this nation could house, feed, and give medical care and vocational training to most (if not all) its homeless...
...but I'm just a whiny agnostic feeling pushed into celebrating a religion I do not practice, so what the fuck to I know about the x-mas spirit? I mean, one of the best Christmases I ever spent was and all-day escape in a bar - laughing, being merry, buying drinks for new-found friends, watching two girls play strip pool and generally having a very merry XXX-mas...

After all, these silly things like joy, brotherly love, immaterialism, community spirit and non-judgement have no place in these dark and depressing days of winter... oh wait.

So, this week if you find yourself feeling a little queazy while waiting in line at the mall, or overstuffed from gorging on goose, or subjected to myopic and antiquated opinions of family you're not sure you are actually related to...

Ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?" (case in point, Google Image search "what would jesus do."
It took me quite some looking to find a non-violent image, let alone one that began to depict any sort of morality of his actual message. If there is a hell, i think this my be it, if you want proof -in the wake of the Newtown, CT massacre- Google Image search "Republican Jesus," HOLY SHIT!!!)

Seriously though, read your bible (or the updated version the Koran, same basic message, just roughly 700 years more contemporary and more pious), and ask yourself, "What would the real Jesus do?"

Then, politely excuse yourself from whatever gluttonous, greedy, prideful, envious, or sloth-like activity you are feeling obligated to partake in...
and if you really are of the CHRISTian creed, get up and go do something that will actually may you feel good about yourself as well as maybe help someone else too... ya know, like put on your boots and mittens, find your local Habitat for Humanity, and go pound some nails so that someone less fortunate can have a place to sleep - out, away from directly under the stars and the icy weight of winter weather... go be a homebuilder for just one day, even if isn't really the birthday of some other slightly more famous carpenter.

Happy Holidays.

A musing on muses

There is something that is hard to explain to the nonbelievers. Well, many things. But what I refer to is the importance of the creative process. If you happen to be a follower or an administrator by conditioning you might as well close this window and go masterbate to a spreadsheet.

The creative process beacons to the nature of being human, i.e. super-simian. You need inspiration. you'll need encouragement, knowledge, dialogue, and a whole host of other tiny things that amount to a stimulating and supportive communal environment. Again, if you work for the government and are content doing so, just go away now. Save yourself the confusion and embarrassment.

I have long been without a muse. It ruined me. no joke. I had nothing to inspire me, even worse a presence (and more than one) who deemed my attempt to enjoy, suffer, ultimately to feel anything an inexcusably selfish act. I'm done with that shit. no more apologies, no more politeness for the sake of maybe making someone feel something significant as the coast of my own.

I have a muse again! It is an amazing feeling. Imagine walking across the dunes of Saharan Africa for almost four years and finally finding not just an oasis but a metropolis of refreshment. I have so much to  say, and show and do I keep burning myself out every couple of days and then i have to sleep for almost a whole 24... I can now imagine the highs and lows of a meth addict. It's kinda fun. I just wish I didn't have to crash at all... the sad thing is that my muse is so far away... We haven't really "met" in the colloquial, physical sense yet... such a strange place to be...

anywho, I felt as if i hadn't posted anything in a bit, so just had to share.... too busy cooking, painting, etc...

Ciao 4 now... formulating something more insightful to say (more so/ back on the usual rants) so i'll be back around... too much to do and so little time left.

Good gods its good to have something again.

a many splendid thing...

Love is a silly word, in American. It seems to be the original NewSpeak...

It seems to cover a ton of otherwise significantly different ground.

For example... I love all my "I'd die for" friends.

I love many people i am blood related to... but that's a different flavor... maybe just by degrees... but still not the same...

now the love that i feel for a fuck (for example) is a momentary, but yet no less passionate love than than that witch i may feel for a lover... yet there is a booze-al and temporal degree of separation twixt the two...

I have had bedded down in the abode of a "dancer" for several months, but an occasional tryst is a different form of noncommittal... yet, none the less passionate...

However, as the good Bill would have said, " Love is a many splendid thing.." So how come many messages but this one made it across the pond but this one? (rhetorical question, see the history of the American mind)

What about the difference between the love of literature vs. science or politics? if you have a love for these things is it still considered infidelity to a married one?

i was told that is was all the same once... and that the only love i was aloud to have was one...

.... and it drove me to the point of mental seppaku....

and now all i can think of is my one true love.... too many happy tears, can't read the screen anymore...

shit, i had something to say.... and i have really failed to make a point here, yet maybe i have... all that aside, here's a song instead:

Junebug.

Cheers, G'night.
